Product Description In the small village of Ibach, Switzerland, the original Swiss Army knife was created in 1897 by Karl Elsener. The Swiss Army knife has the cross and shield emblem. This emblem symbolizes the legend of Victorinox and Swiss Army Band. The Swiss Army knife with it's multi-tool was legally registered on June 12, 1897. Over 34,000 of these pocket tools with the distinctive Swiss cross leave the factory in central Switzerland each day. Ninety per cent are for export to over 100 different countries and serve as ambassadors for Switzerland. The Swiss Army knife can be found orbiting the world with the astronauts, going on expeditions with the exploreres, trekking through the rain forests and even in the New York Museum of Modern Art. The largest model is the "SwissChamp" with 33 features. Over 450 steps are required in its manufacture. You have a large selection of swiss army knives to choose from. Each knife has specific multi tool to make your life a little bit easier, especially in those difficult moments. Many of the knives come with a light or a pen.

The #1 selling size in Swiss Army Knives. It's NOT too small to use if you know what you are using it for! Top QUALITY. A world-wide CLASSIC design.
great keychain tool November 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I put this on my keychain and use it a lot more than I thought I would. The little knife and scissors are great. The tweezers are handy too. Read the description, this is a small knife, but because of that I can keep it with me and actually use it. I think it was a good purchase.
Great for all purposes except getting through airports January 7, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We collected a bunch of these over my husband's employment -- his company used to hand them out for various rewards. My husband loves them -- always finds the scissors, little screwdriver, and tweezors handy -- and keeps one attached to his keys. When airport security began prohibiting any kind of sharp object from passing through security, and my husband had his first business trip after that ruling, he forgot that his little Swiss Army knife was on his keychain, and it got confiscated by security. Not to worry -- we had several more at home. Well, one by one over the past few years, he managed to have them all confiscated. Now we have to buy them, so I bought two for him this time -- a red one and a blue one -- and I hope they make it through the year. The only tool on this knife that he never uses is the toothpick -- I notice that a similar S.A. model has a little ballpoint pen instead of a toothpick, and I think we will try that version the next time. Great little tool.
Best small knife. December 3, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I carry this model in my pocket all the time. An outstanding product, very handy.
