Amazon.com Product Review How much do you know about LED lights? These things are incredible-they use hardly any power, yet kick out a huge amount of light for their size. Also, LEDs are built inside a solid case, which makes them much more durable than incandescent lights and their easily-shattered glass bulbs. And they have a huge lifespan: while the average incandescent bulb may last-at best-50,000 hours before it burns out, an LED can last 100,000 hours or more. This is why it's exciting to manufacturers starting to use this technology in flashlights. How many times have you really needed to use your flashlight, only to find that the batteries are dead or that the bulb is burnt out or broken? Gerber's Infinity Ultra ups the reliability factor with its LED technology that, according to them, will last 100 hours or more on the included AA batteries. This thing is sturdy too-Gerber coats its circuitry with epoxy, which holds everything in place if you drop it or accidentally smack it against a rock. The company claims that the Infinity Ultra is waterproof down to 10 feet. Not having access to 10 feet of water, I filled up my bathtub and dropped it in there for a minute or so. Sure enough, the flashlight still worked, and without any noticeable lack of brilliance. Though the Infinity Ultra's beam is very bright for its size, this is not the best flashlight for navigating unlit country roads at night or for exploring abandoned warehouses. It is perfect for camping, however, where its durability, small size, and light weight make it ideal for hauling in a pack and illuminating a tent. Overall, a great little product from a reliable manufacturer.--Josh Dettweiler What's in the Box One AA battery

Good general purpose January 4, 2009 Pretty good light, though pricey. I bought 3, one for each car. Nice and compact to put in glovebox or attach to sunvisor. Clip also good for clipping on clothing to keep hands free. Surprising brightness for size. Overall, pretty satisfied. Cost is biggest drawback.
great little light December 28, 2008 This is a great little light to keep in your pocket. It does not cast light far, but for up close work and emergencies, it's great.
I've seen better for much less. December 21, 2008 This is an Ok lite. I have seen more output from less expensive products. This is a well made unit but the out put was disappointing. I think you are mostly paying for the name. I have no doubt it will last, and is handy.
a darn handy light December 21, 2008 have use in many places and works as described and dosen't devour batteries also has survived a 15 foot drop onto cement and still worked
Great little utility light December 3, 2008 I bought this to carry with me on motorcycle rides and camping trips. It has yet to let me down. Battery life is amazing, the clip is durable and even after all the vibrations from a 5+ hour motorcycle trip it doesn't slide off the flashlight body.
