Amazon.com Product Description LED lights are incredible-they use hardly any power, yet kick out a huge amount of light for their size. They're reliable too, as the LEDs themselves are built inside a solid case, making them more durable than incandescent lights with their easily-shattered glass bulbs. And consider this: while the average incandescent bulb may last 50,000 hours-at best-before it burns out, an LED can last 100,000 hours or more.Like many other manufacturers, Gerber has started offering a line of LED flashlights, including the Infinity Ultra Task. In addition to the durability and longevity you get via the LED bulbs, this little light features epoxy-coated circuitry, which means its insides won't fall to pieces if you drop it or accidentally smack it against a rock. According to the manufacturer, the Infinity Ultra is waterproof down to 10 feet, too. Though the Infinity Ultra's beam is very bright for its size, this is not the best flashlight for navigating unlit country roads at night or for exploring abandoned warehouses-in these cases you'd want more than the 30-foot beam you get with this light. It is perfect for camping, however, where its durability, small size, and light weight make it ideal for hauling in a pack and illuminating a tent. Overall, a great little product from a reliable manufacturer. Includes one AA battery.--Josh Dettweiler What's in the Box Flashlight, one AA battery

Good general purpose January 4, 2009 Pretty good light, though pricey. I bought 3, one for each car. Nice and compact to put in glovebox or attach to sunvisor. Clip also good for clipping on clothing to keep hands free. Surprising brightness for size. Overall, pretty satisfied. Cost is biggest drawback.
great little light December 28, 2008 This is a great little light to keep in your pocket. It does not cast light far, but for up close work and emergencies, it's great.
I've seen better for much less. December 21, 2008 This is an Ok lite. I have seen more output from less expensive products. This is a well made unit but the out put was disappointing. I think you are mostly paying for the name. I have no doubt it will last, and is handy.
a darn handy light December 21, 2008 have use in many places and works as described and dosen't devour batteries also has survived a 15 foot drop onto cement and still worked
Great little utility light December 3, 2008 I bought this to carry with me on motorcycle rides and camping trips. It has yet to let me down. Battery life is amazing, the clip is durable and even after all the vibrations from a 5+ hour motorcycle trip it doesn't slide off the flashlight body.
