Amazon.com Review After a long hike up a mountain side, feast on a rejuvenating snack of sliced salami and cheddar, cut with this essential Swiss Army knife from Victorinox. The original manufacturer of Swiss Army Knives, Victorinox has crafted high-quality cutlery in Switzerland since 1884. With five features, the Swiss Army Classic SD model is the perfect choice to tote on a day hike, picnic in the park, or in a coat pocket for regular daily use. The Classic SD includes a knife blade, scissors, nail file with screwdriver tip, tweezers, and a key ring. Hand finished by the skilled cutlers at Victorinox, the Classic SD blade is crafted in high-carbon stainless steel for increased hygiene, balance, and permanence. The blade construction resists rusting, staining, and pitting while maintaining sharpness. The blade is stamped from a single sheet and tempered using a unique procedure that creates durable edges that can withstand frequent re-sharpening over years of use. After tempering, the blade is ground, polished, etched with the Victorinox emblem, and finished. The blade and additional features fold into ribbed silver alox casing with rust-resistant aluminum alloy separators. Brass rivets secure the layers of the Classic SD together for years of use. Victorinox offers a lifetime warranty for defective parts or errors in workmanship. Upon shipping, this weighs one pound. --Jessica Reuling

All show no go!! November 2, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This one is not as good as the other classic pocket knives. It doesn't have the tweezers or the tooth pick. For less money you can get one of the transluscent colored ones...much more appealing to the eye! Trust me I have one of these on every set of keys I own. This one just feels cheap!!
Pocket Knife October 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is my 2nd knife. The first one lasted me 3 years and only broke because I used it for a screw driver which it is not intended to be used. I fully expect my new one to last much longer if used as intended. I highly recommend this pocket knife.
Great knife for your keychain October 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got sick of always trying to use my car keys to open boxes and cut threads and figured I should just get a knife on there. As a keychain addition, this is perfect. It's really tiny. Smaller than most of my keys, actually. The blade is very small, but works for everything I've needed it for so far. A bottle opener would be really nice instead of the scissors or nail file, but I guess I could use the Cadet if I really needed it. All the tools slide out like butter and lock into place securely. This a very well made little tool.
Classy Pocket Knife August 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a rugged, versatile, and classy knife. The aluminum housing is solid yet lite. A little more expensive but worth the extra.
just the essentials May 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This knife is a great size for people who don't want a bulky pocketknife to lug around. It's solid and feels like it could withstand a beating.
