Keeping water fresh for long term storage is what was important to us and this product was the best I found on the markets. We have filled water barrels so we'll have them when we need it. Being able to keep water fresh for up to 5 years is a fabulous promise. Every family should keep a couple of these on hand for preparedness.
New Water Storage February 11, 2010 C. M. Mckennon (Graham, NC) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Just used this to fill up new water storage. I use individual containers (5 - 7 gallon) instead of a one 55 gallon drum, due to mobility and ease of use for camping and power outages. Instructions included for use in smaller containers, 8 drops per gallon of water. Easy to use, and a comfort in knowing that it works. There are other methods of preserving water listed on sites, but who wants to take any chances when it comes time to use the water.
This stuff works! February 2, 2010 CW (San Francisco, CA United States) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Just refilled my water water storage that I used this product on 5 years ago. Water was in perfectly drinkable condition. I'm sold. One tip that I did follow was to be sure I didn't open the containers again once they were treated.
