Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Designed for skiers, hunters, fishermen, golfers, or anyone who works or plays in the cold for long hours, the Heatmax HotHands-2 Hand Warmers are air-activated and will provide up to 10 hours of soothing warmth inside gloves, pockets or wherever you feel a chill. All Heatmax warmers are made of natural materials, including iron powder, water, salt, activated charcoal, and wood fiber. When exposed to air, these materials react together to produce heat through an extremely fast oxidation (or rusting) process. Users should allow 10 to 20 minutes for the warmers to reach their optimal temperatures.

5 out of 5 stars Great purchase   December 23, 2008
I'm very happy with the Heatmax handwarmers I bought. I divided up the package and used them for stocking stuffers. It's been cold this year and they've been handy in pockets. My grandmother with circulation issues in her feet even used some in her slippers. Sadly, we had a recent funeral. The grave site service was short but bitterly cold. These were a comfort and they last a long time. They are also easy to use since they activate when the package is opened.

5 out of 5 stars works great!   December 8, 2008
The hand warmers work great. They get nice and hot. I went running with them inserted into my gloves. I bought 1 pair of the hand warmers at Rite Aide for $.50. It would probably be best to just by one pair at first just to make sure it is really what you are looking for.

Honestly the toe warmers weren't so great; you would be better off just wearing two pairs of socks at once.

The product is great buy the price is not. We purchased two boxes at this price only to find out a week later that you can buy the exact same product from BJs Wholessale club for less than $16. per box.

5 out of 5 stars Winter wonderland   November 24, 2008

After years of painfully cold fingers (Raynaud's Syndrome) I splurged on a full box of these hand warmers and, so far, have been really happy. Usually my fingers are cold inside the house, so putting these "hot potatoes" into my mittens, heading into the cold, and not noticing my fingers freezing has been nothing short of a life-changing event for me. I love walking in the snow and now am able to enjoy it. They sometimes get (almost) too warm. I also love the toe warmers, which have made walking in the cold a lot more fun.

5 out of 5 stars The best product ever!!   November 14, 2008
I've been using these for a few years, and honestly, we couldn't get along without them. I have 4 kids, and when it's cold, we use our hand warmers all the time. For winter camping and various sporting events they are truly indispensable. I have kids in marching band, and they always have a couple of warmers handy - they can't play very well if their fingers are frozen, so they keep their hands warm, then pocket the warmer while they do the halftime show. I even send a warmer with my bus riders on cold mornings.
