Kids love them January 6, 2009 This does a good job of keeping water cold. One of my kids loved the carrying strap and the other didn't, but it is easily removed.
I had purchased one of these bottles last year and did have some trouble with a crack around the spout.
My daughter loves the Save the Planet.
Love these water containers. Give the cheap ones to your dumb sister January 3, 2009 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
So far, and the search is not over yet, these are the best bottles for my use that I have found. As a matter of fact, I own 15 of them. The reason for this is that I run and bike very long and difficult distances. Most of my runs and bike routs are known to me before I start. We live in a very rural area and there are few houses or stops to be had. The evening before I take one of my long jaunts, I drive the route and stash these bottles in various little secret places I have. This allows me, especially on my runs, to carry as little as possible, yet still have plenty of liquid available when I feel I need it. These particular bottles were very attractive to me. First, they guaranteed to be BPA Free and this is very important to me. They are dishwasher safe. They hole the correct amount of fluid for my needs. They are very long lasting. If I fill them and freeze them, the water will stay cool for hours and hours, something I dreadfully need. I have found no warp problem so far and they are quite durable and with me, they do take a beating. They serve multiple purposes and are as attractive on the golf course as they are for the fuzzy little animals that come across them in the weeds where I hide them. So far I have noted not leakage from any of the ones I own.
I have purchased and used many, many water bottles over the years. Some have been okay, and some absolutely wretched. After I started using these, I gave all my cheap and crappy Wal-Mart bottles to my sister who would not know the difference in a water bottle and a V.W. mini-van. She in generally as dumb as a fence post.
Now I do not have children (it ain't going to happen in this life time) but I feel these would e perfect for children.
Dehydration is a dangerous thing. I know that girls are not suppose to sweat, but I do and I sweat like a pig (just an expression, as pigs do not sweat - did you know that?), and I am always on guard of both in summer and winter.
Anyway, this is a wonderful product and I do strongly recommend it.
Made in the USA!!! December 30, 2008 I was truly surprised and overjoyed when I got these bottles in the mail and found out they were made in the USA. I can't wait to get my whole family one of these!
insulated bottle December 23, 2008 I bought two of these bottles. So far (several months later) they are a worthwhile purchase. They have not leaked, there is no strange taste as some have claimed, and they fit well in my bicycle's bottle cages. I can't testify about the insulation, because I just fill them up with room temp tap water most of the time. As a medic once told me, "hydrate or die".
Water Bottles December 13, 2008 These are the best water bottles. Fill them 3 quarters full and put them in the freezer. Then take them out to use and you have cold water all day!!
