Product Description REFILLABLE GAS LIGHTER Wind \''N Go Requires no outside sources of power! Never replace the battery or worry about whether the flashlight will work when it is needed. One minute of winding gives you about 45 minutes of light. Ideal for emergencies, camping, home repairs and service professionals.
Product Description Flashlight batteries always seem to die at the worst possible times, with replacement batteries nowhere to be found. The Wind 'N Go flashlight eliminates this problem with its ingenious wind-up technology. Winding up the flashlight generates power in the rechargeable battery so that you never have to change it. One minute of winding gives you about 60 minutes of light. The flashlight has three super-bright LED bulbs; the off-on button allows you to use all three LEDs for high illumination or just one for low illumination. LEDs are designed to be more reliable, durable, and long-lasting than regular flashlight bulbs, which means you can depend on this crank flashlight in real emergencies like hurricanes and power blackouts.

Great Product! November 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I rarely use flashlights, so I usually forget to change their batteries; as a result, on the rare occasion that I actually need them, they're useless. If you're like me, buy this flashlight! I just threw mine in a drawer, and a few weeks ago when the lights went off, it was ready. Winding it up for use is very easy, you can do it while you're using it. And once it's been wound, it lasts for a long time; I used mine for hours.
The only downside is that it's not especially bright, but it's good enough for casual use. I highly recommend it for everyone, just toss it on your car or a drawer in your house and forget about it. You'll never have to worry about remembering to change the batteries again.
Functional Flashlight. Outstanding Service October 21, 2008 Following the windstorm from Hurricane Ike that knocked out our power for 5 days I vowed to never be dependent on a drawer full of batteries. I purchased 2. My son broke the handle of one in the first 48 hours. I requested a new handle from Wind'N Go, and within days they replaced the entire unit and apologized for the inconvenience. Light works very well up to about 50' in 3 LED mode. Single is adequate to read a map or other simple close up tasks. Holds a charge well. Well designed.
Good gift for those people you don't know what to buy for October 3, 2008 I need a small gift for people, and thought how about an emergency flashlight for the car. It's something people will use . Works for me! Also good for campers, of which I have 2 nephews who camp .
Buena calidad a bajo precio August 4, 2008 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
Best I've tried July 28, 2008 I've tried a couple of the other brands of crank flashlights, and this is by far the best I've tried. I bought two of these for work, but needed to buy a few more. These were out of stock and looked like they were going to be discontinued, so I purchased a couple other brands. I promptly sent the other brands back because they just didn't compare. It's comfortable in the hand, the handle folds away securely (unlike some of the other brands where the handle keeps popping up), and it actually has pretty bright output for a long period of time. I usually give it a couple cranks before I turn it on every time I use it, so I don't quite know yet how long it will last on one charge, but I went as long as 40 minutes once without losing any brightness. No complaints about it yet after a few months of use. Excellent product!
