Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Inflated size: Twin 80"x40"x19.5"; raised 19.5" (50cm) from floor level. Constructed of quality tested 20.8 gauge (0.53mm) waterproof flocked top and sides with 16 gauge (0.41mm) vinyl beams and bottom. The 20.8 guage (0.53mm) super-thick & waterproof flocked top and sides give this airbed a 300 lb weight capacity. Includes a powerful built-in ac electric pump that auto-inflates the bed in approximately 2 minutes. The built-in pump allows quick and easy inflation with the touch of a switch while the built-in pump's air release valve allows gradual air release to achieve your desired level of firmness for the ultimate in comfort. This inflatable airbed is very comfortable comfortable! The top of this bed is made of a cozy flocked fabric for comfort and while this airbed accepts fitted sheets the flocked fabric top makes them obsolete. The head of this airbed has a built-in pillow. Features patent pending dual chamber construction that utilizes double I-Beam and Wave-Beam layered architecture through two virtually independent air chambers connected by four flow-through ports that provide firmness, support and stability. This airbed was designed for use indoors as well as outside. At 19.5" tall it is high enough to keep you off the cold floor while it is still low enough to fit in most large camping tents. Folds easily for storage or travel and comes with a space saving duffle bag.

Amazon.com Product Description
Offering all the benefits of the Intex Raised Downy airbed but with the added advantage of lighter weight and mid-rise height, the Intex Pillow Rest inflatable airbed is ideal for travelers who want the comforts of a bed but the convenience of a blow-up mattress. The Pillow Rest is equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge, waterproof flocked top, along with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom. The resulting surface is comfortable and secure, whether you're sleeping at the in-laws' overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. In addition, the Pillow Rest is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere three minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button.

The Pillow Rest is raised 17.5 inches from the floor, making it far taller than most inflatable mattresses, and includes built-in pillows for added comfort. And at 40 by 19.5 by 80 inches (W x H x D), the mattress is an official twin size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Pillow Rest--which offers a capacity of 300 pounds--comes with an AC power cord, a shoulder strap, and a duffel bag. It's also backed by a 90-day limited warranty.

5 out of 5 stars so far/so good   January 6, 2009
I bought this for my 6 yo grandson who comes down to Florida from Chicago a few times a year. I liked that it packs up and can be put away. Also you are not sleeping on the floor. The daughter in law wanted this particular item for that reason. She didn't want her kid sleeping on the tile floor. It was very comfortable. I'm a bit compulsive and bought at a thrift store the foam/egg crate pad and so it added, I think! to the comfort of it. It needed occasional inflation during the 10 day period. It was delivered in a timely fashion, was a VERY cheap bed for an extra person and I would say we were all pretty happy with it!

5 out of 5 stars Air mattresses expanded our hospitality   January 6, 2009
The two airbeds we bought for excess company during the holidays proved very easy to use and comfortable. We were very glad we had them to offer family members who spent the night. Now we have packed them away in their storage bags for future use.

3 out of 5 stars Not as good as I had hoped   January 6, 2009
This product comes in a nice duffle bag and is easy to put away. It is just as easy to set up and my son told me it was very comfortable. By morning, however, his butt was on the floor it either has a slow leak somehwere (we couldn't find it)or the air lock doesn't lock as well as it should.

2 out of 5 stars Leaky unit   December 28, 2008
I ordered this bed in an emergency situation for my 95 year old mother to sleep on. The bed was easy to fill and evacuate, but it has a slow leak that necessitates adding air to it every day. I couldn't send it back because I would have had nothing for my mother to sleep on.

5 out of 5 stars Best Buy for Home Use   December 20, 2008
Great bed!! Plugs in and fills up quickly.(less than 2 minutes) I have used it everyday for about 3 weeks. Just plug in and air pumps automatically (flip switch) into mattress in about 15 seconds once a week to firm up. Pillowtop too.
