Great buy just in time for the holidays December 29, 2008 I bought this CamelBak for a loved one this Christmas and it was the perfect gift. I shopped around at several retailers (Cabela's, Academy, Target, etc.) and this was the lowest price I could find around. This model is great for hiking - it comes with a few pouches to store a camera, map, some food, and other essentials for a day trip. It's the perfect hybrid between a full-sized backpack and the smaller Camelbak hydration bladder pack. 5 out of 5 stars.
Fantastic! December 14, 2008 This worked out perfect for me - I wore it in my first century bike race and it was sooooo convenient! Not only did it allow me to carry all my nutrition in the pockets of my jersey since I was able to stuff tire repair stuff in the backpack pockets, but it meant I always had fluid when I needed it and didn't have to mess with filling or carrying more bottles. GREAT!
comfortable October 10, 2008 it's comfortable, doesn't taste like plastic, fits well, has adjustable strings which have belcro at the end to roll them so thy don't get in your way. the sternum strap gives much more stability, but if you dont want it it can be removed. its easy to fill, and has just the exact cargo space for important things (cell phone, maybe an energy bar, air pump, and it can e adjusted to even take clothing such as a sweter and some pants at the same time).
Great product September 23, 2008 I have an older version and liked it. This new Rogue has an additional pocket and great ventilation next to your back. It is perfect for the type of cycling that I do. I find that a CamelBak helps me stay hydrated on long rides into the wind and on hills where it is difficult to maintain your pace and drink from a bottle. It really doesn't add much weight over that of bottles. I would buy it again.
