The flashlight features 9 LED lights and only requires 3 AAA batteries. Battery life lasts for 20 hours. The LED lights last for 100,000 hours. Batteries are included.  They are CHEAP for a reason October 26, 2008
At first I thought it was a great light, very bright, and well made. Until a day or two after having it, it starting switching itself off and shining in and out - instead of having a steady beam of light.

this is junk. i dropped it once and it doesn't work anymore. i didn't even get to use it for 10 minutes.

Great little flashlight to keep handy. I use it on my keychain as well as for camping. Powerfull little light the shines for a long distance.

It has a decently bright, fixed narrow flood pattern, in the bluish-white spectrum. Useful for walking at night, and its 3.5" length is great for for cramped spaces. Compared to the $25 Dorcy 41-4275, it's less focused and has less power. Can't be beat for $5.50!
