Product Description Techni Ice reusable dry ice packs / gel packs 4ply comprises of 2 non-woven textile layers, which encapsulate a specially formulated cross-linked polyacrylate polyalcohol co-polymer refrigerant combined with a post treated trade secret formula. An additional 2 heavy duty plastic layers, containing a one-way microperforation technology are bonded to the textile layers. This ensures that this new model can withstand the harshest of operational climates with performance that can only be described as revolutionary. * "Re-usable dry ice?" A remarkable leap forward in ice pack technology utilising a cross-linked polyacrylate polymer that can be frozen right down to minus 190C (that's more than twice as cold as dry ice!).Techni Ice reusable dry ice packs / gel packs is often frozen in blast freezers to minus 80C when used in dry ice applications. New Techni Ice reusable dry ice packs / gel packs HDR model can be used very successfully even when frozen in domestic household freezers. Techni Ice reusable dry ice packs / gel packs will freeze between minus 18C and minus 21C when the freezer is adjusted to the maximum setting. Techni Ice Instructions: 1.To hydrate your Techni Ice faster use warm water. 2.Keep Techni Ice fully immersed whilst hydrating the cells as water enters from both sides to activate polymer. 3.Scrunch sheets between hands while fully immersed in warm water until the air bubbles have escaped and cells have commenced hydration. Your Techni Ice is ready to use. Techni Ice Usage Tips-HDR Model Your techni ice sheets should start frozen and a gradual cold transfer will take place which slowly transfers the cold energy from techni ice into the perishables and drinks ,etc. which will eventually leave the Techni Ice cells in the softer state and the perishables and drinks icy cold for a long period . You will note that the Techni Ice cells still retain significant chill factor even in the eventual softer state.

| Customer Reviews: Very good alternative to ice June 25, 2010 Jerry (HOUSTON, TEXAS, US) I use Techni Ice in my insulated lunch cooler always, and it will keep anything cold that goes into that bag. At the end of the day (12 hours) they go back into the freezer for the next time I need them. Drinks are just like straight out of the fridge with this product. In a soft insulated bag I've had these last 8 hrs. and still cold, and cool after two days. Techni Ice is perfect if you have an absorbtion cooler (12v cooler that plugs into 12v outlet and cools or heats) that you cant put ice in. Put them in frozen and it helps the cooler keep colder temps and maintain those temps longer. This product saves on the cost of ice because when your done using them you can store them and use again at a later date, I have not done this but Techni Ice says you can. Also you can use this to keep anything you can imagine warm as they are also a heat pack. You can cut to fit any size you need, just cut in between on the seams. I bought a 20 pack of these for alot cheaper than always having to buy ice again and again. Well worth the money. One other thing, for continous use as I do in the lunch bag you can expect 2 or 3 these to last about 8 months.
An Amazing Aussie Invention! December 12, 2009 Sarah Curtisfawley (Portland, OR) We purchased this for our food business and couldn't be happier. We have previously purchased other brands of this type of product and found that after a short time the cells start to burst open and leak a weird gel substance. These keep a beating and keep on performing - they stay frozen for hours and hours. Will definitely purchase again.
TechniIce October 21, 2009 Gail Crews (Jacksonville, FL) Not quite the same as dry ice...but it kept everything I brought on a plane frozen for at least 5 hours. Tried mailing frozen boiled peanuts with it and in 3 days they were thawed but still cool. They were also well wrapped, but not in a cooler. No dripping as with ice.
I liked enough that I bought more.
TECHNI-ICE A SOLID PRODUCT October 21, 2009 R. Livingston (Hawthorne, CA)
TECHNI-ICE IS A GOOD PRODUCT. WILL KEEP ITEMS IN COOLER COLD FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS!! TAKES SOME EFFORT TO INFUSE THE WATER INTO THE CELLS. STILL A USEABLE
PRODUCT!!

This is a great product.
They get colder than ice and hold the cold a lot longer.
They are very durable. I have had some for about 6 years and they are still going strong.
