Low priced but BRIGHT! July 25, 2008 I bought 10 of these to pass out to my field guys in case they need quick lighting out on their jobsites. These headlamps are constructed cheaply, and they probably won't last very long if used on a regular basis, but for an emergency light you can be assured that they kick out quite a blast of light. Surprisingly (to me) only 1 out of the 10 was defective; the switch seemed a little balky when I first tried to turn it on but it works fine now. Incidentally, what the heck would anyone use the 4th light mode for ... all LEDs flashing at once?
