| Customer Reviews: an excellent small knife December 13, 2009 Joseph Murphy (fairbanks ak) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
An excellent small knife, that because of the blade size, is prepared to deliver some serious cutting. I like it.
Sweet Little Blade June 19, 2007 C. Perkins 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This is THE everyday carry knife. Its footprint is about the same size as a zippo lighter, but slightly thinner. The blade is slightly under two inches in length, but due to its deep drop point design, offers a surprising amount of cutting surface, even with the combo blade version. The handle and blade were designed with safety and utility in mind. When open, the curved handle and blade create a tang-like grove for the index finger, facilitating a secure grip. With the framelock release inside the tang, the subcom can also be closed both single handedly and ambidextrously, while making it virtuously impossible to accidentally close the knife on your hand. It opens and closes with a precise snap; definitely a quality tool. Its thin enough to be carried unobtrusively using either the pocket clip or lanyard hole, and would be perfect for use as either a money clip or key chain knife. The clip can be reversed for either tip up or tip down carry, or removed altogether. The blade is razor sharp, passing both the arm hair and paper test. It cuts through cardboard as well as any clumsy utility knife. I can't say enough about this great little knife.
