BEST I'VE TRIED January 6, 2009 Having owwned Mini Mag LED AA and Inova XO3, I can tell you that this flashlight is much better than the Mini and close to the XO3.(But the XO3 it is much more expensive however, and uses CR123 batteries, also more expensive than AAs)
PROs: -Super tough -Super bright -AAs -Push or locked on button -clip for using with a cap or pocket -very strong -shorter than Mini Mag LED -comes with a removable strap -won't roll when put on table for example (like Minis)
CONS: -Beam not adjustable -Not completely water proof
SUMMARY: Best cost-benefit AA flashlight I've tried. Super bright and tough, full of features.
Decent 2xAA flashlight. December 27, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's a decent flashlight. Being 3W (and AA powered), don't expect this to outshine the more expensive tactical flashlights that are out there. My Fenix P1D-CE beats it hands down.
Pros: AA powered 3W Luxeon LED
Cons: Rear button has a weak spring Anodized finish is poor quality Can't get belt clip off without scratching the finish or damaging the belt clip Lanyard and attached ring is not very useful Price - expected a better flashlight for this money, but it's not that expensive compared to the real tactical flashlights
